Call back gets "You've reached the (something a bit garbled) Torrence. This is probably a debt collector. Personally, I'd block the number but if you do decide to answer, tell him to "cease and desist" from calling you then hang up. If he calls you again, you can sue him. These slime balls try to get ANYONE to pay the debt they purchased for pennies on the dollar. You are NOT responsible for your sister's debt nor do you have to provide him with any information. So ignore the call, block the number but if you do decide to answer follow the suggestions of the FTC. Read here:

I have received two voicemails from this number from someone claiming to be inspector Blake Torrence. He's looking for a relative of mine, the second voicemail he said it's not about a debt. I have blocked the number and I'm not taking his calls.
I received another phone call from this number. I retrieved it from my deleted and blocked messages. He asked very exasperated that he's left me several messages. He claims to be looking for one of my relatives who he says he knows is my niece, and she is not, and knows she's living with me, and she is not. He said he's looking to resolve an issue in her favor. I called him back and said don't call me again or I'm calling the phone company.
