Previous call from 972-331-7540 yesterday (Sunday) about 7pm. Immediate hangup.
Call today from 972-331-7365 at 7:30 AM automated message,
"Hello have you been thinking about selling your business, and more importantly
how much to ask for it. We represent the largest group of buyers..."
No -- I hung up.
Both numbers ID as "IAG". Looks like I'm on the list now, great.
Any advice for getting out and/or prosecuting the caller?
very rude woman Ms. Muhammad ( she spelled her name for me like I was actually going to deliver her message) asked to speak to boss regarding a confidential business matter. would not identify the company or any details regarding why she needed to talk to boss. would not disclose any details about company. just to let you know, [***], I am the gatekeeper. NO ONE gets to the boss without identifying who they are, what the company is and does, and the reason for the call. when I continued to try to glean information from her she got really rude & hung up on me. Called her back & returned the favor!
I just took a call from a Larry Wilson from IAG at this number for one of our partners. Wouldn't share a lot of info other than his # and for him to return his call.
You bet, these A-*oles think they are going to get through with abusive tactics. Think again. If you don't have a message for the owner it cannot be very important.
I love to mess with these types when they call in. Always answer their questions with a question. And if they get really pushy, I tell them to call back for a fictional person. Some of these dummies take a long time to give up.
