Received a call person said first name and said he was technical support for my computer. Wanted more information..I said I did not want any more calls. Looked up the number to find list of complaints. Called phone service provider to have number blocked from my phone.
Just received a call from this number. I told this Alex character I did not have a computer and to take my number off the call list. Definitely a not a guy you want to talk to or give info to, just a scammer looking for people to take advantage of. Software companies, computer companies and tech support of any kind will NOT contact you. Be aware.
Got the call 1/21/2015 @ a little past 3 PM. Heavy breathing and background sound of talking. Do not know who and reading these comments. Yes, had contacted Dell about the computer I ordered not a year ago. Dell tech ran a test and confirm my hard drive is bad…...
I just got a call from this number today . He said he was from tech support and he would help me fix my problem. I was on the phone yesterday with Dell. So, I believed he was from dell too. He asked that I login to my computer and go to teamviewer.com. I asked him my not dell.comdc1 like before. He stated he was from a different department. I then did not believe him and said I would call back. Could the tech at dell be selling clients info to this person. I thought that it was more then a coincidence that I got this call.
I received a call from 972-332-4853 today 2-10-15 at 2:09PM CST from Allen, Texas... unknown caller.
I did not speak with the person so I do not know the purpose of the call; however,
I had also talked with a tech at Dell yesterday 2-09-15 at 5:10PM CST in the "out of warranty repair dept"...
from other messages this sounds very suspicious having had calls with Dell and then this caller.
