Fax scam copy of price quote saying  come from Atmos energy. It was a false fax.
Name on fax is Ronald Anderson and that he was Controller which is false.

thanks woody, ron anderson just tried to scam my company out of 50k worth of hard drives.

Thank you both for your posts!  I had a run in with Ron Anderson as well, I must have received the same fax.

Yup. He contacted my company as well.  Wanted $43,000 in hard drives. Represented himself as a "controller" when in fact the real Ron Anderson at Atmos is a simple Meter Reader. Here is how to catch these scum bags before they scam you.

•    Googled the ship to address on his PO.   (it was a self storage place, not a company address) (many times, scam address are apartments, houses, or storage places)
•    Called the company he was representing (not from phone number on the PO, but actual corporate HQ listed on their website and asked to speak with him (real guy wasn’t even in IT)
•    Googled his “represented name” and “scam” on google (results popped up of him ripping others off for same hardware (HDDs))
•    Looked him up on linked in (no sign of him anywhere)
