ID said Political Call - I was waiting to talk to my state rep & it appeared to be a local number. Jerk said going to be in my area giving away a wireless home security system. I said why are you calling me, He said Huhn? I repeated "why are you calling me?" Dead air, I hung up. Blocked now.
Guess I'll just have to catch my rep in his office. Frequently ask myself, Why are you paying for phone service, just to be harrassed????
You'd think the politicians would want to do something about people masquerading as them! Aww-- hope springs eternal.
Caller ID said Political Call 972-347-8018. I answered and was surprised to find it to be a live call with a man. He was selling a "free" General Electric home security system and I cut him off and told him he was full of **** and hung up on him.
While the caller ID claims 'Political Call' - it's a false flag operation. The caller was trying to sell an extended warranty for my car "since my warranty recently expired". If you'd like the names that their credit card charges show up under, or their direct line to call back, drop me a line.
The call was from an individual purporting to renew the extended warranty on my vehicle. I never had an extended warranty. It's a telemarketer call. I hope everyone reports it to DNC list however I've never heard of them taking any punitive action against violators.
