Caller ID says Dallas Tx. Computer generated voice message threatening arrest over tax fraud. Hard not to laugh. Actually I did. Deleted the message and blocked the number.
they leave a voice mail stating they received a tax fraud case and to contact officer nikki Johnson this time I called back Erick Johnson answered whats your case number he says I said whats your ID # he comes back quick RN2160 told him that's so fake . you could hear people talking on phones like a call center I told him Do not ever call me again you are impersonating IRS Agents and I will contact the IRS and say this is fraud he hung up
I received a computer generated voice message as well, like Stu! It threatened arrest 4 tax fraud TOO. Said to call back or something might happen, SO I did. Ive gotten another one of these b4 from another # BUT this one answered saying Internal Revenue Service. So it was a little strange! I told the man why I was calling & to let me know what the problem was? That I didn't KNOW anything about any tax fraud. AND the call hung up! What I don't get is what are they gaining by this & If they aren't legit why the demand or request to call them back?! I've had someone call too & leave a case # & name of someone to call back TOO. That was a message that they left though, cos I didn't answer. I think with that one the call didn't go through I don't remember well. Might of been one of those #'s you can't call back or it's unavailable. That name Nikki Johnson I think sounds familiar TOO! I like the way that guy Chris handled it. Way to go!
