I received a voicemail from a lady name Marcy Palmer said she was from miller law firm and she had to talk to me about a fraud criminal case in my name. She said i had to contact her because notices have gone out to informed me of this matter and I had yet up respond. She said this was my final warning and I should gear up with an attorney. I called her back and she said she that check n go was taking me to court for fraud on a default loan I had in 2013. I was ok I did have a loan but it was paid she then changed her story and said the are filing a fraud case against me for the NSF check that was returned. It didn't make any sense to me and I told her that. She got upset with me and told me to gear up with an attorney and good luck in court. She then hung up on me! Then less then 4 minutes later I get a voicemail from a man saying he was from the Dallas County sheriff dept that he just got a warrant for my arrest in his office from no other then the woman I had just talked to Marcy Palmer! He said I had 24 hours to turn myself in or I would get picked up my police. I called the number back and I was directed to the Dallas county jail! So I stayed on the line to get to the warrant dept I spoke to a rep there and was told I had no warrants and that I had to have had a court date before any warrant was sent. I was so angry at this point I canales Marcy back and told her that I got a call from a saying I had a warrant but I verified it wasn't true. She again got upset and told me that Dallas police is very capable to issue a warrant. So I decided to pay along and see what other information i could get from her. I asked what were my options. She then said if I can pay $1026.00 in the next 30 minutes she would cancel the warrant for my arrest. My flags went way up with that! I then asked her ok how can I pay? Her tone went from being so upset to very nice costumer service! She then said I had only one option to pay and it was with Money Gram! No way! She gave me a receive code for a company called nations wide sales and services. She again said I had 30 minutes to send it or would be arrested. I hung up on her. I called the Dallas county office and was informed of scams abc collection companies doing this type of things. So no I didn't send nothing! Please be careful when asked to send anything via wire transfer. I still can't find anything with the number she called or the collection company.
