Left a message stating she was Ms. Benson from Attorney Wilson's office about failing to respond to a notice for a court date and to call them back. I do not have a court date, I am sure this is a collection agency trying to use scare tactics to get people to pay a debt. This is illegal.
This "Jason Wilson" called me , he said he was an attorney and is licensed to practice law in North Dakota even though he was calling from Texas. he stated that he was trying to get in touch with my daughter and that she is being charged with Malicious Intent to defraud in 2012. The guy doesn't even know that statute of limitations in N. Dakota is 3 years for felonies and 2 years for misdemeanors. He told me it was 5 years. Obviously this guy is a debt collector who is issuing threats.
