Same experience as others. Numerous calls identified as MADD from many different phone numbers including this one. I asked to be put on their do not call list YEARS ago. Therefore, there is a strong possibility that these are scammers posing as MADD. Beware!
OMG! They never stop calling. Call here every 3 days or so. When I tried calling this number back just a recording and they then just hang up. did call local a local number, forget it, doesn't work. Another recording and then the system hangs up. I then called the corporate office and I got a REAL person (seemed like she was at a switch board), which let me leave a message to an extension. The number I called for corporate: 877-275-6233. The recording said it could take 6-8 weeks to delete number. I sure hope not. I realize this is a charity organization, but I don't give over the phone, only by mail. Since they can't stop bothering me, I will stop donating and give more to my other charities. If I have to I will mail a letter to the corporate office since it seems there are real people there.
Probably not MADD but numerous calls from the following numbers: 469-440-9967, 469-701-0094 and 972-370-3283. All are Texas numbers. I refuse to give anything to MADD.
It's some corrupt fundraiser / tele-scammer failing to identify themselves as calling on behalf of MADD.
