Received a call on our business land line during normal office hours and a gentleman named Robert Perkins called from a company he called Business Marketing. He asked to be transferred to the person in charge of marketing, which is me, and I took the call. He was offer lists of business who spend $5,000 or more on embroidery services (we're a company who specializes in decorated apparel) with names, contact information, email addresses, etc...Told him I didn't see a website and he said they only offer their serves via telecom. He was offering the list of over 2000 companies for $295.00 and he said 92% of the information is correct.

This guy has called twice today. He has the raspy voice of an out of work drag queen that's been smoking for 40 years. Yes I'm gay and felt the need for some humor on here so make people laugh while everyone lears to ignore this [***] at the same time.
If the number they call you on is a business phone then no, there is nothing you can do. You can ask them to stop calling and if they are a legitimate business, you could hope that they play nice.
Otherwise if you have spare time, play their game with them.
Find out who it is what they do where they are located. Get the Corp. HQ phone number and talk to the boss there. Ask them on a date, tell them you're at a crime scene, act like a lonely person that just wants someone to talk with, etc. etc.
I got a call from this number at my office, and a man very abrasively asked for the name of my company owner. The owner goes by a nickname, and I'm not sure how this guy knew that. I didn't catch what he said and first and asked who he'd asked for and he yelled the name in my ear. I explained that the owner is retired and lives out of state, and asked if there was anything I could help him with. He slammed the phone down in my ear. I don't know what this company does, but judging by the rest of the comments this is their normal business practice. I'm not impressed.
Same thing as the rest, I called them back thinking it was a legitimate phone number i missed and then looked it up online to find this post. Next time they call I am going to give the guy a very deserved run around.
