No one gets a heads up they'll be served - it doesn't work that way. Why would a process server want to cheat himself out of his paycheck by having you call another number to confirm that you are home? Process servers are paid ONLY to serve legal documents. BTW, if you were going to be sued, you'd have received lots and lots of letters about the alleged debt. You wouldn't find out via a scammy phone call.
