Asked if he was trying to sell something and I wasn't interested. Then ask about a car that I haven't owned in 16 years and the slammed the phone when he hung up on me.
Called on a really bad line; almost sounded like an old radio phone as he kept cutting out. Wanted to sell me a warranty that I politely told him that I did not want or need a third party coverage. He then became very rude and said he will just keep calling me daily and hung up.
I've been getting the same calls over the past couple of weeks, most often having a hang-up after I pick-up, though one time I asked the person to remove my number and he just hung up. Today, after the call and immediate hang-up, I called the number back and someone picked up after 3 or 4 minutes on hold. I politely asked if he could remove my number and I heard him typing on his keyboard. He said it should take effect within 72 hours. Hopefully that does the trick. Frustrating that this happens, but no use in getting angry at the person on the other end since it may decrease the chance that s/he will remove your number.
They call 5 or 6 times a day. When I asked to be removed from their calling list, he kept talking over me and I raised my voice when he wouldsf not stop. He told me " look, you won't talk to me like you talk to your wife". That made it extremely heated, and then he slammed the phone down and hung up on me. They have continued to call and hang up on me since.
