Another pre-recorded "Google" pretender, referring me to a "Google" specialist. This one is called "Loyal9" and presumably wanted to charge me lots of money in order to update my Google Business listing (which you can do for FREE, and probably as fast or faster than giving them the same information).
Their Google+ account has lots of 5 star reviews (which are likely fake) mixed with the more believable 1 star reviews of their charging money to update your Google listing (which is free).
Any business that cold-calls me with a pre-record is immediately assumed to be a scam, and you will get no business from my company.
Odd thing - they called on a different phone line than our main number which is published on our Google Business listing, which probably came from the whois information and are not actually looking at the Google Business/Google+ listing.
They called back again. Had a nice little chat. No sale, of course. They seem to have several complaints on BBB, but they seem to be better about refunding money to complainers in order to keep from scuttling their BBB rating. Still, would not pay them hundreds of $$$ for something which I've already done or can be done easily for free.
Pre-record to business. Sandy/Randy(?) called to tell me my business wasn't verified under Google (it is). Odd thing, it there is a brief "This call is being recorded" just before the transfer. And yes, it was, by me as well. Should have played along longer, and found out how much they charge for stuff. I'm sure they will call back.
