Ok it's a fraud it's a scam it's a scam don't tell them anything. The police were called there is nothing you can do. Don't give them any acct numbers at all. There looking for info. This number is bad news.

Most likely the "you've committed check fraud and you have written a bad check and there are warrants against you and you will be arrested" scam. Total scam. If you'd written a bad check the bank would notifiy you first, not some scammy debt collector. Bank would have to make a complaint to police. Not some debt collector. Ignore and block their number.

Received a call from this number implying I have a felony check fraud situation and have 24 hours to contact them about it. I have no check issues and do not intend to return their call.
