If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking), the only thing they understand.
Received a phone call from a Private number with the same message that came in the email 2 minutes later. Same as everyone above, right down to the Reply stating I borrowed $300 and now owe $973.75. Payday loans are illegal in Vermont, where I live, and I just told "Timothy Peters" I will be forwarding on the the State Attorney Generals office. I also want all documentation to supposed loan, I never took out. They have gotten quiet since then.
I gotten to email from this same people. One from John Anderson and Cathy Jones. I hope they both will have some fun, thinking they are going to get money out of me. Also, how can I owe the same amount of money: $ 973.75. They really need to stop emailing people with the scammed they have going on. Also, you have to send a letter, with the company name, the address, the amount and a copy of the contract.
I am sure they called me - but I don't answer calls that I don't know - but however got the email - I owe money - I have 1 day to make it right -or legal action will be taken against me.
don't worry deb, I have been getting this crap for years nothing has happened and nothing is going to happen just ignore them and delete its a total SCAM !
I didn't receive a call but a lot of emails with this name and number the persons name is William Davis and the number is 1-972-499-5082.He keeps sending me messages that he would settle for a amount and then next day get another one with a different amount. They say there from Cash Advance USA telling me to pay or there going to take legal action.
