Just received a call from 1-972-502-9798, 02/28/2013 at 1:43pm CDT, and my Caller I.D. said it was from LGIVINGMOVEMENTS and the Area Code is for part of the DALLAS, TEXAS area ..... I ma on the DO NOT CALL LIST since it started and I put my telephone number on it every year ..... But I still get these type of calls ..... After checking the information about the DO NOT CALL LIST there are three (3) groups except, they are POLITICIANS, RELIGIOUS GROUPS, and COMPANIES WHO DO SERVYS ..... ...... But, this call could be from a SCAMMER because when I did a search of LGIVINGMOMENTS there was none .....

First of all, thank you for supporting your daughter while she serves her country.  It is a difficult sacrifice for all of you and I wish you nothing but the best.

That said, you should not post anything close to your real name anywhere.  You don't want to give any crooks some potentially identifiable information about either you or your daughter.

When these people call next time and ask for your daughter by name, play along with them.  You will then see that you are speaking with a robotic voice (albeit female and upbeat).  They will try to get you to take a survey.  See if you can give them nonsense answers until you get a live person.  Then politely tell the that you are preparing to sue them for harassment if they do not cease and desist immediately.

Taking 'surveys' may be allowed under the do not call list, but once you tell them to stop, they must stop.  The same goes for charities or fund-raising groups soliciting in behalf of charities that keep mot of the money you donate.

I think their game is to get you to sign a petition.  Why should you when you don't know who they are?

This LGIVINGMOMENTS outfit has also been known to use 646-558-6688.

Here is what I found for LGIVINGMOMENTS
Earlier today I received a phone call from someone whose caller ID appeared as LGIVINGMOMENTS.  First they asked me a series of questions that seemed to be related to the perceived promiscuousness on television nowadays and asked me if it "appeared worse than it was"...

I decided not to ask them "as compared to when" as the caller seemed to just barely handle reading the standard questions in her hand, I didn't want to present her with a mental challenge that might completely stymie her ...

So I answered "yes."

Then she asked me if music, movies, and games seemed to contain more graphic, violent, and promiscuous elements than they once did ...

So I answered "yes."

Then she asked me if I felt there was an overwhelming amount of content on the Internet available to children via their phones, tablets, computers, and other devices available to them ...

This one seemed pretty straightforward, so I answered "yes."

Then she asked me if I would like to have my name added to the petition they intended to present to legislators calling on them to require CONTENT ADVISORY LABELS on games, music, and Internet content (like the movies provide) and they would also ask that movie content advisory labels be mandatory by a new law ...

To which I answered "NO!"

I am opposed to censorship of ANY kind, and specifically government-imposed censorship, and feel it is the responsibility of parents and adult guardians of children to be aware of and limit what kinds of content a child accesses over their personal devices.

I could almost hear her jaw drop as she incredulously stuttered, "But you said..." which is when I informed her:

I think there appears to be "more" explicit content in music, movies, games, and on TV especially compared to a couple of decades ago and certainly when I was a kid; however, that isn't the same as believing there should be ad hoc government regulation abdicating a parent's rights and responsibility to make decisions regarding the content their own children have access to in their daily activities.

I think I traumatized the poor woman because she kept asking me to "press 9" to add my name to her petition, and when I repeatedly informed her I would not be "pressing 9" she asked me to "just say nine" and that would serve the same purpose.

I once again informed her I disagreed with the type of legislation she was advocating and would not "press 9" or "say nine" but I will say "NO" I disagree with what I understood to be the suggested premise of her survey.

This unfortunate lady began to go down the list of things she thought should be legislated by government edict again, and I felt it would probably be best for everyone involved if I just hung up on her.

I had already given my well-reasoned and valid opinion and refused to sign her petition -- going over the same points a second time wasn't likely to change my mind.

Have received call from whoever this is from other numbers.  I never answer and the recording on answering machine asks for lady of the house.  When no response is given by machine the recording says "what?"  I'm sorry I didn't get that.  I'll call back at a later time."  Getting pretty obnoxious, and I'm so tired of all of these stupid calls.  It would really be nice if we could get our lives back.  If they insist on a response, let them try supporting the postal service and pay to mail stuff, since it is evident that they have quite a bit of funding for phone annoyance.

Scammers who call endlessly, from many different numbers.  These type of scum need to be stopped.
