Got a call from this number with my CID saying Unknown Name. I was told by police dept. in my town that most scammers will us Unknown Name when they call to scam people so no one will know who the are. Especially a scammer just starting out and later you may see this same number with some other name end even spoofing a name from some real company. They may also be using a spoofed number and the call may actually be coming from overseas but with a local number to make you think it is a local number and hoping you will think they are the real thing. My call blocker block this number for me. My call blocker will also block all Robo calls automatically. With my call blocker, the person calling has to follow instructions when they call if I haven't already accepted them in my calling circle. It's a simple process but if it's a Robo caller, there is no one on the other end of the line to punch anything, so 80% of my callers are automatically blocked.
