Voicemail asked me to call in regards to someone I have never heard of. Did not leave a company name just a return number and the name of the person they want to speak to me in regards to.

This is a scammer, intent on multiple criminal intents (federal offenses)... Identity Theft, extortion for a wrongful debt collection, harassment, etc.
Recv'd a voice msg on my mobile phone, from "Rose with Allied Financial". Rose stated that she was contacting ..... regarding a collection on a loan that was past due. The person with the supposed loan is a family member of mine. My family member DID have a loan which was paid in-full months ago, by a local banker that offered a reduction on the interest rate. I instructed the rep. to remove my mobile number since I never gave authorization to use my mobile number. I know personally because I was present when the original auto loan was initiated with a Legal Financial Institution. My family member called this "Allied Financial" (972)537-3107 and instructed them to remove my mobile number from the supposed account. The representative stated that they needed to verify the info of the owner of the mobile number before they could place my mobile number on a restricted/do-not-call list. Again, my family member demanded that they remove it, not put it on another list. I then took the phone informing them that i will pursue legal action through Federal.gov for identity theft, extortion, harassment. Also, I intend to file a complaint with their state and local Better Business Bureau. Below is the site I used to file my federal complaint.

Some rube left a message saying they were looking for a "Brent Morrell", about a debt collection. Could not make out the company, person had an accent. Big time scam, I am not Brent and do not know this person at all. Return number was given: 866-891-8876
