That number belongs to the Elmwood Neighborhood Association Crime Line. It is not capable of outbound calls, inbound only, so someone is 'spoofing' the number. I am the Chair of the Crime Watch and retired from at&t, so I have control over the number can actually i.d. itself.
I received a call from Gina with Assurant Roofing company desiring to give me a 'free roof inspection.' First, I am on the National Do Not Call List. Also, I have an unlisted number so not sure where they got it. I asked where and she said 'from my computer.' I asked where the computer got the number and she said she could remove it from the computer but only for 30 days. I once again asked where they get their list of numbers. She said she was not at liberty to tell me that information. I explained she was not at liberty to call that number either but she did that.
We had a hail storm come through 6 to 8 weeks ago and I have received about 50 roofer calls. I am done being polite. I just really want to know where they got my phone number.
The name says "Anonymous" (which I have blocked). When I call the number back, it's just a Police Department's automated incident report line, which obviously wouldn't be *making* calls. Don't have any clue who it might be.
