this number is being used (as of september 2015) by a computer repair company ( the name might change they told me this time they are called I Fix Web Solutions) that illegally preys upon the compter user by asking if they have a computer and then sayings its showing on there system as spreading viruses and for a fee they will remote controll into the computer and fix it. This is a scam. There is no such reporting software they can have to tell them this. I would never allow someone full access to my computer. they could steal information or plant viruses.
He said he was from Microsoft. I asked him how he knew we were having problems & he said there was a program on my computer & the wifi sent it to them. I asked for his phone number then googled it. The company is NOT from Microsoft.
Said he was from Microsoft. Got his phone number. Had called before and I told him if he called again I would report him to the attorney general's office. Am now reporting complaint to that office.
9725918370 - this number is the number he gave me when I asked, but it does not show up on the phone - only "out of area". He talks with a thick accent. When I asked if he was with Microsoft, he said no, he was with Windows. He wanted me to start my computer so he could give me commands to type in. I have heard that they will put a lock on your computer that is set to lock after a certain period of time and it will show a number you have to call for help....of course, there is a "charge" for this service to unlock (or clean-up) your computer, when they are the ones that installed it by telling you what to type in. Please beware of this call or any calls wanting you to type in something in your computer. It is a scam. The sad thing is that old people fall prey to this. I told him he should be ashamed to take advantage of people like this. He then hung up on me. Please pass the word. NO ONE will call you and ask you to type in prompts, etc. if they are a legitimate company. IT is a SCAM that is intended to hurt you.

A girl calling herself Gigii called told me she worked for Microsoft. Said I have several infections. Told me how to get you to the screen that shows them. I told her my computer was in other room, I told her I would. Call her back. She said she needed to be connected to mine to fix it. What I'd like to know is if I haven't been on my laptop in over a month how do I have all these errors? This is one of many calls I get . I called Microsoft the said they woiuld NEVER call you...........this company is a fake and a scammer...... BEWARE.......
