The person that called barely spoke intelligible English (heavy Indian accent), but I was eventually able to determine that she seemed to want me to outsource my own technology-related services to her company. She claimed to have called previously, but I don't recall having received the call.
Also received a call from this line. She (also with a thick accent) asked for and employee that no longer works here. Labeling this number a spam/scam.
Another useless India-based BPO wanting me to outsource my RCM to them. Thing is, they target my industry because they are well aware that all we DO is RCM, so they are essentially stealing our clients instead of marketing for their own. Of course, they are limited in their marketing ability because most US health care providers are fully aware HIPAA does not apply offshore and they'll be held personally liable for any breach that may occur. These idiots also do not understand that their global involvement in a US-only industry has driven rates so low that few of us would even be able to afford to outsource - the only way I can even make money is to do the work myself and pay myself a salary for it. I heard not too long ago, India health care was also becoming heavily third-party laden - I hope that's true, so we can start taking their jobs from them.
