I have been getting multiple calls from this number. I tried calling back just to see who it is at 7am in the morning and it just rang and rang. These calls are coming in on my cell. Wish it would stop.
Received a call from 972-647-4739 (Caller ID stated Rainsoft). She said Mrs. Carter wanted to welcome us to the neighborhood and congratulations on your new home (we did indeed just move in). She also said that as a part of the welcome, we could have our choice between $500 in grocery coupons or a 4 day, 3 night stay (or something like that) at a 4 star hotel, and all that needs to be done is a water test at our home. She asked if we had water filters in our sink or fridge, which we do, and she wanted to see if we were going to be home over the weekend to do a water test. I said "sure" before I realized that it was going to be a waste of my time, so I just called them back, a guy answered the phone as RainSoft Systems, and I told him I wanted to cancel my appointment. He got my name and city and said ok (he sounded disappointed).
Let's just wait and see if they still show up. Not entirely sure if this is a scam yet. Maybe just a sales call.
The following company Rainsoft 972-647-4739 calls my number at least three times a day. It is a robo call and it is driving me crazy. They never leave a message. How do I go about stopping them from calling me.
how dissapointing. I just recieved a call from this number and of course like most folks now days i did not answer it because i dont recongnize the number. no message was left. so I did the google search and came to this site. I just recently like last week purchased a refridgerator from home depot. the only reason i gave them my phone number was so i could have it delivered to me. I am so thankful for your feedback.
I haven't been in home depot in quite some time and never have filled anything out for them....got a call on my cell just now and answered it....only because there are other things going on right now that I may get calls from numbers I don't have saved....she asked if this was the 'so n so residence' and pronounced my last name wrong so I said, nope. She said okay and hung up on me. I have a Rain soft water softerner system.....when they sold it to the previous owner's of the house it had a lifetime warranty....they wouldn't transfer it over to me as the new owner. So it is not in use and I refuse to pay them money to do anything to it. It sounds to me like it is RAIN SOFT that is the issue not home depot.
