call originates, as per phone, in Allen TX, i know of no Allen TX nor do i know anyone in Allen TX. this is obviously a call no one should answer. caller left no message and has now been blocked. if i don't know the identified number or, if there no name shows up as an identifier, the call doesn't get answered and will be blocked. what's the use of having a no call list if the lists are so obviously easy to get around.
They called me from this number twice in the past 10 minutes. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.
I just called there and a girl named Alisha answered the phone. She is with a company called "Energy Efficient Program".
I told her to take my number off of her calling list and she said she did. It is a solicitor......
I received the same call from Alisha trying to schedule an energy auditor to evaluate our home to determine if we qualify for the Texas stimulous of up to $4500. I questioned the audit company and the name she provided doesn't seem to exist. The call back number she gave me (1-888-710-XXXX) comes up as the prefix that anyone can set up for their business. When I called that number it clearly forwarded to her 972 # and she answered "Energy Efficiency". Nice, she's apparently getting around.
972-649-9009 calls 3 or 4 times a week and sometimes they call multiple times within a few minutes. From previous caller complaints, this is an "Energy Efficiency" company in Allen, TX trying to schedule an energy audit. I am on the do not call list ,which is another government program that does not work, and I have never had any contact with these people. Why does the FCC not do anything about this type of call?
Have received 10 calls from 972-649-9009 in the past two days. They call about four times in one hour. Today after receiving two calls in past 20 minutes, I called them back. A woman answered "Energy Efficiency". I advised I was on the No Call List and requested my number be taken off of their calling list. She asked if this was Mxx Xxxxxx (and they do have your name) I said yes and again asked to be taken off of their list. She says "Don't you want to know what the calls are about?" Again, said NO! and you need to remove my name. She then hung up. I'm guessing bogus telemarketer.
