They always call several times a week with a recorded message saying they have important personal business and give my husbands full name... If it was real important woudn't a real person call? I called the number on the weekend just to see who would answer and it's a recording for Diversified Health Care.
I answered the phone and a pre-recorded message said to call this number and left a reference number. I immediately googled the number and got this information...so I called. It was Baylor Medical telling me what the remaining balance was on my daughter's medical bill. She told me what the original balance was and what my insurance paid. She said I could do a check by phone, credit card, or send in a payment. I opted to send in a payment and she gave me the account number and mailing address. Everything has come out to be legit!!
I got a call on my new cell phone (new number) from "972" ... I don't answer calls from incomplete phone numbers so I let it go to voice mail. As stated in other posts, it was a computer with "important personal business". I've never been to Baylor so I don't see how it could be them ... but you never know.
My cell was forwarded to my office phone & I just got the recorded message at 6:10 pm on Friday. I called the number & Diversified Health Care's recording annoying said that they closed at 5:30 (arrgh!). It is probably about a visit to Baylor Irving hospital. Don't you just love the "personal" touch that their 3rd party vendor uses?!?
