This is a SCAM. More than likely your information was sold after applying online for credit. I was inundated with these calls after applying for a payday loan online. They shop your info out to 100s of lenders....some good, and a bunch of bad ones who sell your info. They went as far as to harass my family members and call my HR Dept. saying they wanted to serve me with case documents or there would be a warrant for my arrest. They harass you to the point of - ok - pay up or we will get you fired. Extortion at its finest. They use a spoof card so the caller id can look like a local number or even say "Sheriff's Dept" or some other law enforcement agency. Don't fall for it and do not talk to them. Unfortunately, the FBI in Houston told me there is very little I could do. Not to give them my home address or work address as they may show up and threaten you phyiscally. GOOD LUCK! this people keep calling saying i owe money and such i have no debit i have never been late on any payments i owe no one any money but yet they are saying i need pay $598. If not there will be a warrant issued for my arrest. 1st off as i said i don't have any debit i owe nothing to any one all my stuff is paid i have no credit cards i don't know where the hell these people got my information from. My house cars everything is paid off. In order for them to be trying to collect any money people hello you need to get serviced papers from your local county court house they don't call you to collect and say if you don't pay there will be a warrant issued the law doesn't wokk that way do not fall for this scam they are just scammers trying to make money off of you.......
