This caller continually calls and leaves a message saying I can stop the court case against me if I contact the plaintiff directly. She will give me the number she’s calling from as the plaintiff’s number and a claim number. Now she's CALLING PEOPLE I KNOW. I definitely think this is something I obvious owe from the past since they have this information and because of who they are calling, but it cannot be on the up and up with the messages being left like this. Any legitimate legal action would require me being notified by mail or in person. And they would not have a problem telling me the name of the plaintiff or company in question. Bottom line, I will not answer this unless I am called into court or notified in a proper way!
