Got a call from them and when I asked for them to send proof via mail the lady went crazy. She told me not to call her back. Then she turned right around and called my house number. Then I find out later that they have been calling my husband at work and will not identify themselves to the lady taking the message.
As far as I know they must send proof of the debt owed and give you 30 days to.dispute it.
received a call claim fraud...demaned money ,,,i have not receive any demand notice by them, when i asked who they were and gave me daa...whatever that means...gave me a money amount and for me to send by Money gram from Walmart send monies too...they also said they would accept credit cards. ...if this monies owed or not i am not giving them this way...the only way would be USPS money order, they said that they couldn't accept ....sounds like scammers
They left an automated message about serving me for a civil manner at my home or place of business. A quick check of a reverse number search finds this number 972-715-3264 is not registered to a business through Southwestern Bell - from Dallas Tx. Guessing here but likely a scam artist.
This is another scam in which they are trying to get people to pay money they do not owe. Best thing to do is to block them and then after they call three times you can file a harrassment sue against them. I got $1,000 dollars the first time and I about to collect again as each time they call, it is a violation so for ever three calls, I file again for continuing harrassement.
They called telling me I was going to be served court papers at my home or business. Didn't give caller name or business name. They gave a case number and the persons voice became very serious sounding and he said "you have been served" Honestly took me 2 minutes to stop chuckling. Obviously they can't "serve" you via voice mail haha.
