This scum bag called our office 2 times asking for the owner and was rude both times when we said he wasn't in. The first time he asked for his cell number and we wouldn't give it. We said we would be happy to take his number so we could call him back, but he wouldn't give it. The second time he asked for the owner and I said he wasn't in and asked what it was regarding. He got really rude and said he was referred to him by another client and demanded to know when he would be back in the office. I called the number back (it was on our caller ID) and it just rang and rang and no one picked up.
Called my work place. Asked for my boss who hasn't been in the office, wasn't happy about that and was very rude. He wouldn't have talked to my boss if he was in the office anyway.
"Anthony" claimed he was a contractor, he asked for my husband, the owner. Claimed he was calling wanting a bid for some work. My husband wasn't available and doesn't have time to take calls unless it's a real customer and it's important. Then this tactless jerk refused to leave a message, wants my husband's cell phone number instead ... big red flag.... to which I said no. He got po'd and hung up without leaving a message. I call scam, maybe some phony investment "opportunity".
Called our business and wouldn't leave a message when I wouldn't put him through to the owner. He had the gall to ask for a cell phone number then abruptly hung up when I wouldn't give it to him. If he calls again I'll give him a piece of my mind.
