This "company" called the church office this morning asking if we (the church) would like to sponsor our local high school "like we have done in the past."
I asked, which high school they were calling about and they did actually name our local high school, much to my surprise.
Then they told me I was on a list of past sponsors and they were hoping we would do it again.
I told the caller that we never did that before and she questioned me on it.
I told her to check her records and tell me when we sponsored in the past, but she couldn't answer that question. In the meantime, I typed in the phone number in and just as I expected, it came up here on 800notes.
I then told her that she should be ashamed of herself for trying to scam small businesses and non-profits and told her to take our number off of her list. I suggest you do the same if they call.
However, since they are scammers, they will probably call back anyway until there is enough evidence to shut them down.
Pushy female asking for the owner to advertise in a local high school. I know for a fact the owner is not interested. I asked her to take us off their list. She then asked, "Are you the one who makes the decisions?" I said no. She then said "Well, I guess I'll be calling you back then". Told her not to bother because I will not put her through no matter how many times she decides to call. She just said again she will be calling back then I hung up.
If she knew anything about the company she's calling why on earth would we be interested in advertising at a high school. Get a life.
972-809-2970 just called our business. Caller ID Showed up as ALLGOODS LLC. Requested to speak with Head of Marketing. I told the caller that I was that person. She was asking for sponsorship for our logo to be added to local high school t-shirts. I told the caller who did not identify herself that Highschool Students are not our target demographic and wouldn't allow our logo on their shirts due to the words beer & wine on the logo. I asked to be removed from the list. The caller told me that she would not remove us from the list and asked to speak with the person in charge of marketing for our company. I again let her know that I am the person in charge of marketing for our company. She then proceeded to ask to speak to the owner of the company. I told her that the owner was unavailable to take her call and she hung up on me. This is the 4th time that they have called this week.
Sure doesn't sound like a legit, honest place to work LOL. Search them up at indeed dot com.
They should have to provide written proof that the school requested their assistance, too.
