Received a Call from this number from organization Called NRA. Now I own no Weapons or Guns...They had the last 4 of my Social security. They asked me to verify who I was and I told them I was not going to say anything till I knew more what this was about. He said it was a Private Business matter and I said well if you cant say anything then I can either and he hung up on me.
It isn't the National Rifle Association, it is the National Recovery Associates. They are a bill collector and often call old numbers for people so it may have been someone who used to have your phone number
National Recovery Associates, a bill collector, they call any number they can find on a person regardless of how old it is. I have had this number for 6 years and they called looking for the person who had it before me
I got the same call. I don't mind a debt collector legally seeking payment, but when they wouldn't give me anything more than "NRA" or even refused to tell me the nature of their call, the business, or anything, my red flag went up. Not going to verify personal info if they can't do honest business.
