Called while I was gone. Did not leave a message. I dialed the number back and got Angela at some breast cancer research organization wanting money. She apparently had caller ID as she knew my name.
They called my home phone to solicit donations for Breast Cancer Research. They wanted to find out if I wanted to "make a pledge". I said "no thank you" and that was the end of the conversation.
Called number back. Texas Jaycees looking for donations for Christmas baskets for Texas kids fighting cancer. Response: Unable to. Give what little money I have to other areas. Thank you for calling. Bye.
Just another scammer that refuses to obey the do not call registries; but why should they when there are NO teeth in the laws and all the worst abusers are exempt?
