"Emily" has left repeated messages referencing "earlier conversations" and asking me to call back. She has a very pleasant voice (like a kind older woman, maybe somebodies grandmother). She never leaves details...although today she did say that she was from Texas, which is a first.
I've never picked up the phone or returned her call.
Called today 01-23-12 and she (Emily) left a message saying she was calling from Curt Anderson and Assc. and to call Curt back. She said his office was in my home town, yet left a Texas call back number. I won't return the call.
They are absolutely, positively a SCAM. Called me, left VM, I called back telling them to remove me from database, and they got all offended and hung up on me deliberately. Twice. The second time with, "Well, just don't call us back anymore."
They are idiots and scammers.
Do not for one second believe they have a legitimate purpose. If they did, they'd simply say "ok, we will."
Received a call from Emily and like the above posts mention, has a pleasant enough voice. She left a vm that she saw my company's name on line and left her phone#. Called back but it just rang and rang and rang....kind of intrigued on what she's selling!
Nice older lady voice asked my partner to call "Glen Turner," who she said is a lawyer. She said he was from Wheeling, which is a town near our office in Illinois. Clearly it's a Texas phone exchange.
