For months Wachovia Recovery Solutions called from an 800 number asking for Mabel Harris. Finally I called them back and told them she had obviously given them false information because the telephone number had been mine for many years. The lady I spoke with promised to take the number out of their records and stop the calls. What they did was sell the whole file (incorrect number and all) to a debt buyer who is now calling looking for Mabel Harris. The caller mumbles the name of the company hoping whoever answers the phone isn't paying attention.
