A new number I will block from the children's cancer spam bottom feeders. I am keeping track of dates and numbers, then blocking calls.

How do I get away from this? I also get hit by the computer scam, IRS scam, political scam, job notification and grant spam. I do not answer anything. I look up and report everything I can. I count 31 unwanted calls in this month. My own private terrorist
Caller ID says "ACCS". They leave no message. They call before 9 AM.
They called me before on 2016/11/25 from 402 819 5210. That call also had a caller ID of "ACCS". When I called back that number, they gave their name as "American Children's Cancer Society". The telemarketing firm was Corporations for Character, who, in my opinion, align themselves with some real shady groups. I am assuming the same for the 973 area code call (I am trying to cut back on my call backs).
In my opinion, they are a really poor choice for a cancer charity. If you wish to support cancer research/patients there are many charities that do a far, far better job.
Called landline.CID displayed ACCS. Left no message. On 1/19/2017 CID displayed call from ACCS from 402-819-5210. We NEVER answer ANY unsolicited calls or number we do not recognize. We do not contribute to any organization until we research their rating and percentage of money actually given to the cause and not the administrators. Call ignored.
As people earlier noted, this is the American Children's Cancer Society (ACCS). This time, I interacted with a very realistic voice-activated program. It had me fooled for the first two question/response interactions. Regardless, this is not a worthwhile charity to fund, so blocking the number is a good choice.
