Received a call at 8:45 am this morning. Did not answer & no message was left. Did not call back, since I did not recognize this #. Will be blocking it.
Call came in as "Commonhealth," so I did not answer and blocked the number.
I asked a Verizon Rep about blocking numbers, and she suggested I purchase a Panasonic or Samsung landline phone. These are the 2 manufacturers who have Call Blocking capabilities.
I am SO GLAD I purchased the Panasonic KX-TG78755 on Amazon! I am able to block up to 3,000 different numbers! When a blocked call comes up on CallerID, I have it set up so my phone doesn't even ring!
*Note: I am not affiliated with Verizon or Amazon, although I am a customer. I wanted to offer information and a solution for others because it works for me.
I just looked this model up. Your confusing the phones phone book memory for the call blocking which is 250. If you don't get many calls, that is great! But I went with a device (up to 1500#) instead because I didn't need a new phone (let alone 4-6 handsets) and the devices hold more numbers not to mention cheaper cost wise.
