Have been receiving calls from random, unknown numbers in the 978 area code. This particular number is one of them. When I try to return the calls (I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize) I get the scratchy beeping and the "...the number you have dialed, blah, blah blah..." recording. Apparently, these numbers are "...Level 3 communications..." numbers.
Other numbers are 978-710-0128, 978-965-8957 (about 6 calls from this number) and a few from other area codes.
No doubt, listing my phone number in a craigslist ad in January has something to do with this. (I was selling some equipment and needed to be reached while I was out of the office.)
If there is anyone who can shed more light on this matter, please post the info. Love this site!
