This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and further violate the TCPA by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. When you finally do get to an operator, they still further violate the TCPA by hanging up when asked for a phone number and physical address. Their recording informs the victim that they have qualified for a loan of $250,000 and can get the money in as little as 48 hours, but the operator has to ask questions so basic that it is evident the victim has not met any kind of qualifications. This is clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer any personal or financial information.
