Also trying to find out who owns this number. Received a call around mid-morning. Message was left to call a toll-free number to respond to some sort of invitation I supposedly received. Sounds like a scam to me.
Received a call from this number while I was entering the hospital to visit a terminally ill family member. Fortunately my phone service allows me several choices with dealing with unwanted calls. I now forward all unwanted calls to the local morgue.
Caller ID only shows Out of Area. I let it go to voicemail. Sounded like a live rep, she was calling to see if I received the invitation card for the free dinner at the Malibu Beach Club next week. There is a Malibu Beach Club not far from here, however I've never received any invitation card from them and my number is a business line not associated in any way with any sort of sweepstakes or anything I might have filled out. Most likely a completely scam, probably phising for personal information. My number is on the Federal DNC list so unless it's related to my business it is a scam.
