Just updating and wondering if I need to be worried about identity theft. Same number keeps calling with different people on a recorded message. The message is always preceded by a voice that says: "To opt out at anytime, press one", then a new person repeats the same message, word for word, claiming to be from AmeriSave Mortgage Corp. Today it was John Short. Every call is a different person claiming to have a question about a recent refinancing application, please call back at 1-800-800-9039 x6084. I'm in the office from 9am to 7pm. The number shown is my own area code, yet I one time I received the call at 9:40pm. Since no one else has posted, I have to wonder if someone used my name to try to refinance a mortgage, or if this is just a really targeted scam.
