I can confirm rdd's response. My call was an automated message from anthem blue cross blue shield about offering new health programs from my health insurance plan and to call a different 866 number for details, specifically regarding a "personal health coach."
got a call from 978-712-3583 and didn't answer phone. Called the number from a (hidden) trunk line to protect identity.
The recording that said they wanted to to "share some health information on a new program that is already included in your plan. Please call the number on the back of your ID card."
They never said WHICH health system they were associated with. I called my health provider and they said they did not make the call.
I believe this was some bogus solicitation to make you THINK they were your provider.
