I got 15 calls from 978-801-6228 last night - 8 between 10:30 and 11:00 pm and 7 between 2:00 am and 2:20 am - it was one every minute for seven minutes, one to two rings every time...called it this morning from work, says "number not in service"...
Calls all the time lately, reverse lookup said it's a landline from Essex Mass, and looking at the map & zooming in close it showed an area on route 22, near the board of selectman's office, so looks like a business zone of town. ?? who knows..I sure don't... There was no specific info as to who owns this landline.
I'd like to hear if anyone else has more info, I'll only answer if I know it's legit. I won't bother calling them back to try finding out who the hell they are, I've wasted enough time just doing this much already...
it comes ups as a cell phone on my caller id...called twice today-once really early in the am and then again this afternoon. no one is on the line, but a recording says "please hold for an important phone call", then no one ever comes on the line. i waited on the line just so i could chew someone out and then didn't even get to do that!
The number that calls me is 978 801 1969. No one is ever on the other end!! Just complete silence, When I call it, I just get a generic answering system. I get calls sometimes 3X per day!! Totally annoying!!!
