I keep getting calls from this number as well saying the same thing: "Hello, this is CIGNA calling for (name) we don't want you to miss out on helpful programs and services. Please call us back toll-free at 1-844-255-2991 again the number is 1-844-255-2991. Thank you and have a good day goodbye". If cigna thinks I need some special program, why not mail or email me that information? Or better yet - give me an alert when I log into my account online??
A recorded message saying it was from Cigna (who is my health insurance carrier). Said that they had some important information for me blah blah blah. If it's so important, they can mail it to me.
Also, if it actually was Cigna, you'd think it would say so on the caller ID
Agreed - Cigna is annoying. Same message as above. Gave an 844 number to call back but I deleted the voicemail before making a note of it. And I also agree that it is shady to not have "Cigna" on the caller ID. If they have something to tell me, they can mail it.
Just got a message from this number and called Cigna back directly. They did not have record of any outgoing calls to me and advised to not call back the 844 number, and to never give my personal info if they call back. Obviously this is some sort of scam number.
Got this call at 9:01 a.m. and it showed up as Andover, MA. I don't know anyone from MA so I didn't answer. Glad I didn't after reading everything here.
