This number calls with an automated service and wants you to verify your personal message and SAYS you can call the number on the back of your card. I called Blue Cross / Blue Shield and they said this is NOT my pharmacy benefits. Advised to go ahead and block the number.
This is a company that appears to work along with your health insurance company, that deals with expensive prescriptions that may be ordered for you. They are usually calling to tell you whether you've been approved or denied for the drug that has been prescribed for you. It is a legal company.
This is not a scam. I had "Restat" for my prescription insurance, and it recently changed to "Catamaran." I have been having an issue with one of my prescriptions needing prior authorization month after month. I called the number on my card and spoke with someone, and a few days later, received a missed call from this number. They left a message asking me to call back. I didn't need to, because my pharmacy had called to let me know the prescription was filled.
