Who called from 9792170702

I'm glad this thread is showing up on Google now.  I've been getting calls from this number for almost a month now.  They're calling my business line, but it doesn't ring through.  They go straight to my voicemail, but don't leave a message.

According to my logs, I've gotten 12 calls since August 10.

I can only confirm and duplicate what others have posted here. Have had several calls each day for the last month or so.

Wants to talk to payroll / human resorces and gives that persons name.  I put it through to that departments voicemail.  They will not leave a message.  They keep telling me it is a federal regulated matter and they can only talk to that person.  They want to verify employment but will not fax me a thing. They keep on insisting that they have to talk to this person now.  Sounds very fishy and they won't stop calling.  Five to ten times a day and for the last 6 weeks.

I get 1-2 of these a day, have been for weeks.  No one on the phone, hangs up when I answer.  It's intensely annoying...

Same here - for the past few weeks we get 2-3 calls from this number a day.  Never anyone on the line and never leave a VM.  I call back and it is always busy.  The number is unlisted too.  
Did a reverse phone look up- found this:
