THEY CALLED BECAUSE MY WINDOWS PROGRAM SENT THEM AN ERROR MESSAGE THEY WANTED TO HELP ME TO FIX THE ERROR,I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T HAVE A COMPUTER AN HE HUNG UP ON ME,THIS IS THE SECOND CALL I GOT,I GOT A CALL YESTERDAY FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER 559-515-8002 THE GUY HAD A FOREIGN ACCENT
They called said I had a problem with windows and they want to fix it for me. Guy had accent hard to understand. I do not have a problem with my windows
The calls are from scammers in India who change the spoofed number they use every 3 to 20 days. Their pattern is to call on 'bursts', that is call every day (up to 3 times a day) for 3 - 5 days (sometimes using different numbers), stop for a few days, then repeat.
Besides BEAR COM appearing on your phone's I.D., I have seen the following over the past 12 months -
