Call came in while on another call via Call Waiting.  Caller ID said "MATAGORDA, REG M".  We know NO ONE in Texas that would be calling us.

COULD be a PRANK call from an EVIL CRIMINAL SQUATTER TENANT whom we are in the process of EVICTING.

Or it could just be more SPAM.

Called up today. Caller ID has it as `Pain Relief Ctr'? Left no message.

LOOKS legit, but probably IS NOT because the number is likely SPOOFED (Fake, hiding the REAL number which could be from overseas.)  Its possible this practice changed its number, OR the CRIMINALS co-oped a real number, and they are just victims of this, like all the rest of us.

There is NO reason a legit 'pain center' in TEXAS should be cold calling people around the country who have NO CONNECTION to this medical practice whatsoever - and who are NOT even in actionable chronic pain!

Curious to know what they SAY they are calling about.

I just got a call from this number 979-245-2079, caller ID said MATAGORDA REG M.  I did not answer.  They did not leave a message.  I looked up the Matagorda Regional Medical Center, which is in Bay City, Texas.  (I'm from Madison, Wisconsin.)  The proper number for the Matagorda Regional Medical Center is 979-245-6383, so I called that number.  The person who answered said he didn't think they had any phone numbers in their system where the last four digits started with a "2".  He said if the Matagorda people called someone, they would leave a message.  Sounds like a scam to me.
