He wanted 2 fishing kayaks from me, and wanted me to ship them to Haiti. Said his name was Mark, definitely from India, and signed his name as Reverend Mark and that he owned a shipping company.
Caller named Mark called and wanted to know what brand of merchandise we sold. I told him they were custom. He wanted an odd size and when explaining what was available he said, "what is in stock?" I told him and gave him prices on those and he said he owned his own trucking company and could send some one to pick up. Then changed his mind several times about what he was looking for. He has called several different times with different requests, so I put him through to the owner today. After speaking with "Mark", the owner was suspicious also. He called me and I told him about this site and what I'd found. The owner called "Mark" back and told him we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and that when Google-ing his number it had been associated with fraud. He started back peddling furiously and our owner terminated the call. I truly believe he is up to something. Use caution and always trust your gut.
Also got a call from him asking if he could buy 2000 large boxes. Wouldn't give his name, wouldn't give an address, wouldn't let me send him a credit card authorization form and insisted that he only would give it verbally over the phone. If it was a couple hundred bucks maybe, but this was close to $7k and I just didn't want to risk it. Also used the "I have a shipping company" line with me as well.
John Moore just called me and asked me to make and ship 1000 lbs of Cowboy Sausage for him in the next month and wanted me to ship it to Romania, he said he owned his own trucking company. Well I Googled his telephone # 979-307-3501 and HOLY SMOKE this guy is a FRAUD my gut told me to hang up on him but I played along for 3 minutes and told him to call me back in an hour. Well within that hour I did my research on him and got him at his on joke HE IS A FRAUD !!!. HE should go back to his own country if they will take him..
