Called my Do Not Call registered cell in Dallas TX. Left no message.

I answered the call because I recognized the area code. There was nip response on the other end and the caller hung up.

I almost answered the call because I recognized the area code as being the same as the university I graduated from, thinking it might be a solicitation call, as I have regularly given to them. However, remembering I had gotten scam phone calls, too, from this area code, I didn't answer. No message was left, so it is probably a scammer. Am blocking.
