Got a message that simply said 'hi Tim'

I know better than to respond to a number I don't recognize.

I got a text that said "hi Kelly" and it's the second time. Weird.

Got text from number today. Asked me to add them to my yahoo messenger. When I asked who it was they didn't want to give me a name. Just said they didn't have a signal. Told them they didn't need a signal to provide a name. After that, no more text messages. I called my wireless provider to make sure my account hasn't been compromised.

I got a message that said "Hi ;)"

I replied "Who's this?"

They replied ";) a.dd me on S.k.y.p.e ... ID is genesiswoman6"

I replied "Uhm no. Who is this?"

I've received a few texts from this number (979-457-4493) that just say 'hi Leslie'.
I just delete them.
