Called at 6 AM! India Guy. "how are you, Sir?"
"Not well. It is 6:00 am and a moron just woke me up. I guess it's s you."
He did not get the joke; that's when I became suspicious!
He then told me me he was working for Microsoft Corporation. his name was Tim Allen
He tried to inform me that my Windows computer had downloaded some files and I needed to check to my computer with them.
They have the name assigned to the phone to make it legit.
It is only when I told him to F**K OFF, that actually, he did.
Obviously a scam as I do not have Windows, only a mac; Anyway with 90% of people using Windows they have a 90% chance of being right.
was just called by some indian woman...there are viruses on my computer..asked her where she was calling from..she said 220 yonge st..I live in Toronto so 220 yonge st is the eaton center. Could bearly speak english told her to stop calling or will call police she said good luck and hung up. Nice eh??!! phone # was 1-979-557-6130.
Just got this annoying call with lots of people in the background that sounded like a party...the guy talking said my boy friend's name which really bothered me.I said "OK Bell Telephone...track this one..."The number was 979 557 6130..Why would someone in Texas call Quebec Canada ?
